December 23, 2011...The RoadRunners organization show the giving spirit during the holidays by donating clothes, toys, and gifts to a few families around the Houston area.

February 4, 2012...The Lady RoadRunners would like to thank each and every person that participated in our Valentine fundraiser. Also congratulations to Rosetta Mayes for winning first place in the raffle, Nigel Jefferson for winning second place, and Gary Welch for winning third place.
February 10, 2012...Happy Birthday to #12 Daizha Norris.
February 11, 2012...The lady RoadRunners get their season kicked off with their first day of practice today. The girls came with a great spirit of wanting to get better and improve on their skills. I was very impressed with the girls first practice and they have me very excited about the upcoming season.
February 16, 2012...Happy Birthday to #2 Quatera Limbrick.
February 17, 2012...Happy Birthday to #30 Jaelyn Richard.
February 25-26, 2012...The girls played in their first tournament of the year. The girls showed that hard work from preseason practice pays off, as they won 1st place in the Primetime spring tournament held in Humble,TX in the 8th grade division. They went a perfect 3-0, beating the Houston Hoops, Anderson Shiro, and Texas Warriors. Way to start the season off girls......
March 10, 2012... The RoadRunners traveled to Frisco,Tx to compete in the M.A.Y.B. Spring Tournament. While the girls had to overcome playing multiple teams in one day, they manage to get the job done by gritting it out and going undefeated. They beat some very good teams from Oklahoma, Dallas, and Midlotian. They played well together and brought the 1st Place Championship back to Houston. Good job ladies............
March 19, 2012...Congratulations to #20 Madison Houston for being inducted into the National Honor Society as a seventh grader. Madison has made straight A's since she started school, and has yet to make a B on her report card. She has also scored perfect on the TAKS test more than once. Keep up the great work in the classroom Madison.......
March 23-25, 2012...Lady Roadrunners went to Channelview,TX to play in the Houston Hoops, Off DA Hook Classic. The girls played hard and together all weekend. While getting banged up a little they still manage to go undefeated and win the 1st Place Championship. While competing in the tournament they beat teams from Beaumont,TX, North Louisiana, and Laport,TX to claim the crown of tournament champions.....Way to go girls......
March 31,- April 1, 2012...The Lady RoadRunners hit the road down to Baytown,TX to play in the Bay Area AAU Classic. The ladies played two years up in the 10th grade JV division. While playing up, they still manage to go undefeated and win the 1st Place Championship while competing against high school girls. They showed no fear against their competition to continue their undefeated season. The girls displayed great teamwork on offense and defense in rout to going 3-0 in the tournament and staying perfect so far on the season.....We are very proud of your hard work RoadRunners.........
April 13-15, 2012...The Lady RoadRunners traveled down to Cypress,TX to play in the Nike Cy-Fair 14th annual classic. The girls went a perfect 5-0 to win the 8th grade division. They beat teams from Dallas, Laredo, and the Houston area. The RoadRunners won all games by an average margin of 35 points per game. I am very proud of how hard the girls are playing, as they have won 20 straight games this year and have a total record of 20-0 as of now. As we no the season will only get tuffer from this point, the girls look forward to improving individually and as a team. Keep going strong RoadRunners......
April 21-22, 2012...The RoadRunners competed in the All American Sports Regional Championship Tournament. The girls played two years up in the 10th grade division. While playing up they still manage to win first in their pool (3-0) to advance to the playoffs and then they also advanced to the championship game were they lost a close one to a very good 10th grade team. The RoadRunners got 2nd Place in the Regional Tournament in the 10th grade division. Way to hang in their with the big girls ladies. Coach was proud of them and look forward to the future for his girls. I see big things for these hard working ladies if they stay humble and continue to work hard on and off the court.....
May 4-6, 2012...The Lady RoadRunners hit the highway again down to San Antonio,TX. The girls played in the Battle of Puebla Classic put on by Joey Simmons in the new Mission Conceptions Sports Complex. The ladies bounced right back from the last tournament and went undefeated (4-0) and won the 1st Place Championship in the 8th grade Elite division. I was very proud of the way all the girls played all weekend. They played hard, together and smart. The went against Sophia Young Elite, South Texas Hoyas, Katy Rebels 2016 Elite, and North Texas Team Strive and won all games by an average margin of 30 points per game. Great job ladies.....continue to improve...
May 8, 2012...Lady RoadRunners hosted thier Free-Throw-A-Thon Fundraiser, as the girls did a great job on their free throws.... we would like to thank each and every person that donated to the girls for the event.
